Speech Language Pathologists

Speech Language Pathologists help children improve their ability to communicate. They evaluate and treat many areas of communication including difficulties with articulation, language, social-communication, cognitive communication, voice, augmentative and alternative communication, and/or swallowing disorders. They will provide an in-depth evaluation and make treatment goals based on the individual child’s and families needs. Their goal is to help empower children and families to become more effective communicators.

Occupational Therapists

Occupational Therapists help children develop the skills they need to carry out everyday tasks, like dressing, eating, playing, and interacting with others. They focus on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care routines. The therapist works with your child in a fun and supportive way to help them build confidence and independence. The goal is to help your child feel successful in their day-to-day life.

Physical Therapists help babies and kids reach their developmental milestones. They work on things like balance, coordination, strength, and flexibility. Difficulties in these areas could be because of conditions like cerebral palsy, prematurity, developmental delays, or injuries. Every child is special, so the therapist creates a plan just for them. The big idea is to help kids be as independent as they can, whether that’s crawling, walking, running, or playing games.
